The Koi coffee table is an experiment trying to blur the lines between furniture and art. Built in conjuction with Leeds based artist Alan Flood it is a true one off. The painting of koi carp is constructed using mixed media, mainly acrylic. The coffee table is an extension of the painting frame, turning it into a functional object and drawing themes from oriental design. The four drawers can be removed and have cut out handles so they can be used as boxes. This item is for sale. Please contact me for more information.
