This set of oak cd cabinets were designed with an oriental theme but also displaying the weave effect carving. The prototype was constructed using fumed oak whose colour gives a boldness to the piece. For the following set, the fumed oak was lost as was the handle on the door which gave a more subtle visual impression and a more sculptural quality.
